Two weeks ago I returned from my first trip to China with many thousands of photos to go through and countless experiences to share. The people and places seen were amazing. New worlds uncovered and high expectations were quickly surpassed. From Beijing to Hong Kong and everything in between, I had my trusty Canon at my fingertips. Through a lens, I sought to capture it all; the tempting local dishes, the marvels of ancient engineering, the passionate artisans, and the land and cityscapes that were so different from prior experiences. As I make my way through these photos and make my selections, I will share many of them as bite-sized posts in the ‘Stories’ section of the ‘Stories through a lens’ website. I hope you enjoy them and that they encourage the explorer in you.
